Steve Aoki with “Hit Your Heart,” a collaboration with Norwegian pop queen Dagny. The singer co-wrote the track years ago, performing it live with her band but never officially releasing it. Eventually, Dagny sent the demo to Aoki, who picked it up to produce.
The Aoki touch is indeed all over this one. “Hit Your Heart” is a slick and utterly catchy pop anthem alternating between spare, sexy verses from Dagny a truly excellent singer — and a huge hook courtesy of Aoki. Try not to bob your head.
