SoundCloud is making lives a bit easier allowing now scheduling releases

SoundCloud is doing something that should please its creators quite a bit. It is now allowing users with a Pro Unlimited Account to schedule when they want songs to be released.

Someone can upload a song and then instead of leaving it private for a few days until release, they can schedule the track and allow the scheduling mechanism to take care of the rest. This will be great for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly podcasts, radio shows or other programs that run on time. Also imagine you are about to go on vacation, about to get on a plane or head to Ibiza with its awful internet, schedule your song ahead of time and you won’t have any issues.

This is somewhat unique to SoundCloud and not most other platforms because you don’t have to go through distributors and publishers that verify add extra layers of bureaucracy to a release, but also in theory make sure the release is legit.
