Francesco Mon started presenting Radio shows on Italian Fm Radio Stations, bringing the early electronic sounds to a wider audience, later becoming a Club DJ, with many residencies in Naples, London and around Europe.
Originally a guitarist, for post punk and underground Neapolitan bands, Francesco evolved into electronic music production, under the guises of Mosca Sound, Nektar, God’s Uncle, Monetty. In the last years in partnership with Giancarlo Lanza, started the “Lanza und Mon” project producing with international acclaim “Neverlove” EP – out in August 2015 on the Miami based Making You Dance label. Have followed remixes (for iRecords and Uno.label) and solo EPs on Uno. Label, Selbstportrait and Uno.Dope rec.
Currently you can listen to his DJ’ing in Naples and London where he has residencies at underNapoli, Scatology and Wicked7. Parties and in radio shows for underNapoli Beats on Insomniafm (on his own artistic direction).
His unique sound is crafted by merging superfine deep and tech grooves with psychedelic melodies and contaminated influences to create a sexy and mental journey made of continuous emotional and hypnotic impact.
