In his studio in Gothenburg on the Swedish West Coast, Hakan lives and breathes electronic music. Starting the Substream label 2004; today Hakan finds himself the co-owner one of Göteborg’s most renowed record labels for electronic music. Hakan’s quirky debut ‘Trollflöjten’ dropped in 2008 on the iconic German vinyl label Pearldiver and instantly hit the top of the German underground 12” charts. Since then things have just been getting better. His critically acclaimed, headphone-friendly deep house album ‘Soulroom’ in 2011 reached #1 on leading UK electronica store Juno Records and was supported by an endless list of DJs and online radio stations all over the world. The record offers a blend of contemporary electronica and poetry readings and the songs ‘Goodbye’, ‘July’ and ‘Take My Soul’ made an impression on the scene both locally and internationally.

Hakan Ludvigson has been DJing and producing since 2008, gradually gaining recognition for his unique style of turning poetry and samples of street noise and nature into dance-friendly electronic music. he’s got an exciting new collaboration with legendary Swedish techno producer Hakan Lidbo. STRÖM I P2, the leading Swedish radio show for experimental electronic music has featured Hakan’s work and he participated in the famous art project “Viskleken” on theshow in 2012.
