Peggy Gou is kicking off her new label, Gudu Records, with an EP of her own.
Moment, out on April 19th, will have two new tracks from the South Korean-born, Gou layers her own vocals (in Korean and English) over the tracks. Jee-ook Choi, who designed the artwork on the 2018 EP, has also done so on Moment, and she’ll oversee Gudu Records’ artistic direction.
“I realised I wanted to be my own boss with my own music,” Gou told the Vice-owned magazine. “At first I wanted to have just my music, but now I think people would like to know what kind of artists I support.”
