Tomorrowland has launched a new festival, Tomorrowland Winter in France 2019

Tomorrowland has launched a new festival, Tomorrowland Winter, set to take place in luxury ski resort Alpe d’Huez in the French Alps next year.

Tipped to run 13th to 15th March 2019, the festival’s theme is “The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus” with organisers promising a “fantasy wonderland for over 30,000 music lovers from around the world” alongside “a sensational line-up and state-of-the-art decor”.

The sister festival of Tomorrowland’s annual Belgian edition, the line-up for the winter festival is still under wraps — although that hasn’t stopped organisers from already advertising four-night (starting at 685 euros) and seven-night (starting at 825 euros) packages to the event.

“We truly feel that with all the different actors involved, in Alpe d’Huez we’ve found just the right partner to realise our dream: a winter edition of our festival, “ said Michiel Beers, creator and organiser of Tomorrowland. “We couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate our 15th anniversary with the People of Tomorrow and we just can’t wait to welcome them to this enchanting, winter wonderland.”

This year’s Belgian event is looking bigger than ever. Tomorrowland recently revealed its 2018 theme (“The Story of Planaxis”) and stage hosts, alongside headliners Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren and many, many more.

Tomorrowland Winter is scheduled for 13th to 15th March 2019. Watch the festival’s announcement video below.
