The Electric Pickle club in Miami is closing its doors next spring

The Electric Pickle club in Miami is closing its doors next spring.

In a statement posted to the venue’s social media accounts today, the Electric Pickle managers said that, “After much emotional deliberation,” they would not be renewing the lease for the club’s North Miami Avenue location next year. The club will shut its doors in June 2019, but will continue operating normally until then.

It’s been a crazy ride and we’re not done yet,” the statement says, leaving the door open for a possible new location. “It’s time for a change.

Calling itself “the little club that could,” the Electric Pickle stood out in Miami because of its relatively small size (300 capacity) and its underground-focused booking in a city otherwise associated with glitzy venues and higher-end clubbing.
