Tim Langler – Insomniafm Podcast 098

Tim was introduced into the Melbourne underground dance music scene, by a good mate, in the late 90s. He fell in love with the music and it has been a passion ever since. He loved the sounds of John Digweed, Nick Warren, Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Seaman. Tim started mixing back in 2005. In 2010, Tim started a monthly internet radio show called “Elements”, where he played 2 hours of deep progressive tunes.

Tim temporarily had a break from the radio show to start a family, however, the passion for music never subsided. He started mixing again creating sets for friends and guest mixes on radio shows, which then proceeded into Tim developing a mix series on his SoundCloud page. Tim, along with long time and good friend Seven Wells started a podcast series called Variable Frequencies. Variable Frequencies focuses on showcasing some of the finest underground sounds and dj talent on the planet.

How can you describe Tim’s DJ and music style? It depends on the mood, Deep house to techno and everything in between. He is influenced heavily by the likes of Henry Saiz, Jeremy Olander, Darin Epsilon, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, Eelke Kleijn and Jeremy Olander to name a few. If you would like to know more about Tim Langler on his upcoming tour dates and releases, please visit the following: Facebook
