It packs a four-channel mixer and two media players into a portable package designed for use outside of clubs. It’s made to get the most out of the new version of Pioneer’s rekordbox dj performance software, which features an expanded Related Tracks sorting system, improved audio analysis and an Automix function. The controller itself has jog wheels from the CDJ-2000NXS2 but adds On Jog Display screens containing information about playback time, BPM, Hot Cues and loop data. Each player also has a dedicated looper and a Jog Adjust control.

The mixer section includes a Magvel crossfader, is DVS compatible and contains two USB ports for easy changeovers, while two of the channels can receive phono signals from turntables. Along with a selection of 14 Beat FX parameters, each deck is accompanied by eight performance pads, which can control Hot Cues and Pad FX, while Keyboard Mode allows you to trigger cues at different pitches.
