Garden Festival and Electric Elephant 2012
Garden Festival and Electric Elephant have begun announcing details for their 2012 events, taking place this July in Croatia.

There are two important differences about both festivals this year. The first is that they will leave behind The Gardens Petrcane for another seaside spot on the Adriatic coast called The Gardens Tisno. The other is that they've teamed up for what they're calling a "double whammy": punters will have the option to buy one ticket to both festivals, which take place at the same location one week apart from each other.
Musically, The Garden Festival will follow its tried and tested blend of house, disco and bass music. Nicolas Jaar headlines, along New York house heavyweight Kenny Dope (the man behind eternal classics like The Bucketheads "The Bomb"). The rest of the DJ bill includes Ben UFO, Greg Wilson, Darshan Jasrani as Metro Area, Appleblim, Space Dimension Controller and festival favorites Crazy P. In addition to Jaar, Tiger & Woods and 2020 Soundsystem will play live.
As usual, a gaggle of Arghonauty Boat Parties and Barbarella club events will happen alongside the festival. Details for those are still forthcoming, but the hosts include Futureboogie, Louche, Beats In Space, International Feel vs. Golf Channel, Diynamic, Dollop, RA and We Love. The new Barbarella is bigger than before and in a completely open-air location, which attendees can reach via a short shuttle bus-ride from the festival site.
Electric Elephant follows in a similar suit. Bookings include the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Ewan Pearson and Ivan Smagghe, as well as eclectic disco artists like Optimo, Sean Johnston and Mike Simonetti of Italians Do It Better. The Argonaughty will be in full effect once again.
