It begins with churchy organ stabs think Stereo's mid-'90s breakbeat house classic and heavy bass kicks, eventually roaring off to the thrilling accompaniment of Italo pianos and whip-cracking 808 claps. It's so authentic you have to pinch yourself that it hasn't just been recovered by builders having been dropped down the back..

The EP contains the remixes from Jose Tabarez, Stevie Fitz and Veliades and before blooming into life alongside the smoky pads and percussive chiming synth refrain. There's even some tooting for good measure. Retro then? Maybe but also blissfully, euphorically good, serving up an elegant record of scuttling, moody house music.
