Forbes reveals the World’s Highest Paid DJs list for 2017

Each year since 2012, business bible Forbes has crunched the numbers to reveal the world’s highest paid DJs in their Electronic Cash Kings list.

The 2017 list has just dropped, with all the usual suspects making the top 10. Scottish superstar Calvin Harris lands at #1 with a cool $US48,500,000 in earnings, marking his fifth year at the top of the list. Veteran Tiesto comes at #2 with $39,000,000, while frat boy duo The Chainsmokers make their Cash Kings debut at #3.

David Guetta slipped down a couple of numbers from last year to land at #7, while Diplo stayed put just ahead at #6. Pop crossover stars Martin Garrix and Zedd sneak in at the end at #9 and #10 respectively. Check out the full list below.

Forbes measured earnings from June 2016 to June 2017 for the list, pulling in figures from Nielsen, Pollstar, Bandsintown, and Songkick. They don’t subtract “fees for agents, managers and lawyers.”
