This week we choose to present you a DJ from Argentina, his name is W-Cross

W-Cross was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he grew up listening to bands like INXS, U2, Depeche Mode, New Order and Soda Stereo. Some of his favorite artists are the nigerian singer, Sade and Gustavo Cerati. Since he was a child he felt passion and enthusiasm for music showing a particular interest in percussion.

In 2006, by the hand of a DJ and producer friend, he acceded to a sample of the best style of Deadmau5 and Mathew Dekay. Since that moment he was influenced by those who would be his inspiration in electronical music: John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Deep Dish, Hernán Cattaneo, among others.

In January 2007, he was one of the creators and producers of a new project called Neo Tango: an exquisite merger between the melancholy tango and the freshness of the electronic current music. This new format was launched at the Argentinian Atlantic Coast, achieving excellent critiques on the local and national press.

At the beginning of 2009, he returned from San Diego, California where he lived. Being abroad he improved his skills as a Dj and had the opportunity to see the most important electronichal performances in the world.

Once in Argentina, he began to mix and play in private parties and several bars of Buenos Aires. In January 2010 his personal friend, DJ Leonardo Córdoba, gave him the possibility of introducing himself in the After Beach that carries out in La Caseta - Mar del Plata, playing for more than 3000 thousand persons.

Due to his exquisite musical selection and by order of the public W-Cross was selected and invited to play every evening as DJ resident in the beach. A famous tradition in the Argentinian Coast. From that moment on, he became inmediatly recognized by his music style being invited to play in several dance clubs.

That year in May, he presented his first live set which obtained a striking success. It gave him the possibility of being invited by the DJ and Producer Roberto Di Maggio and the producers of the famous partie -Ministry of Sound- to play in Pacha Buenos Aires where he shared billboard with Jerome IsmaAe.
Inmmediately after, he made several presentations in the emblematic disco The City while he was chosen to inaugurate two dance clubs like Blue.apple and Exclusif Him Club.

The results of an intense work were crowned in 2010. He made important presentations, and was requested to musichalized the Nueva Era bar in Marbella, España with a selection of he best New Age Chillout. His new set mix was called -Loving in Marbella I- receiving excellent critiques from DJs and international producers and a wide acceptance in the public.

In September 2010, W-Cross introduced a DJ set Tribute - Tribute to Christos Fourkis - Greek DJ and producer. Inspired by this new style of doing music, adding the sweetness of the deep house with exotic sounds, W-Cross received several invitations to perform in Greece, Tunisia, Mexico, Morocco and the possibility of a contract for 2011 in Los Angeles with Sony Music.

In October, he released his first remix Take me away - 4 strings (W-Cross remix). In addition to being presented as one of the national revelations on the radio show -Special Guest- where his special production Good bye Buenos was played before W-Cross travelled abroad to play in Europe and USA.

In 2011, After a year of intense work W-Cross surprised Audience with His new live mix set-Looking at the sea. Bringing him to have his own Radio Show called Golden Wing´s in Xelestia Radio (Puerto Vallarta - Mexico) where the best dj´s and producers of the world (Deep and Progressive house) as 16 bit Lolitas, Deepfunk, Ioan Gamboa, Henry Saiz, Monaque, Moti Brothers, Davi, Denis A, Maik Relaunch, Frangellico, Christos Fourkis, Bobby Deep, Mehemet Akar, Sound Process, dPen, Cj Art, Kostas Škrétas, Ryan Luciano, Eelke Kleijn, have their broadcasts with exclusisve mixes.
