This week we choose to present a Dj/Producer from Russia, his name is Alexander Anufriev

Alexander was born near the city of St. - Petersburg, the music capital of Russia. Later, as a student, went to live there. Since childhood, always drawn to music, but became interested her more seriously after listening to the group Prodigy back in 1997. Then, Alexander realized that it was his music, and more and more immersed in it. But with age, musical tastes changed and the old music, which until that time brought joy to take second place. Thus in 2000, together with his friends, Alexander discovered a new stage in the musical life, some vinyl with broken rhythms and turntables. Next – more! In early 2011, Alexander presents to your attention the radio show Mirror of my Soul which will be published every 1st Friday of the month at 21:00 CET on the radio Insomniafm. Musical style of show is deep and progressive house.

Like producer he released many good tracks, the latest work is Sincerity EP a nicely crafted if perhaps a little too functional progressive-tech effort with an anything but run-of-the-mill remix courtesy of Franzis-D, who follows his own "less is more" advice with a stripped-back approach which allows the warm bass pulses of the original a little more time to breathe. It's beautifully restrained, Dj Coslow allowing the lively key stabs to only make a momentary appearance before tightening the leash and submerging in the depths of a low-pass.
