This week we choose to present Mix of the Week, a special Dj by the name of Robert Mužika-Tot aka Robbie M., born in 1985, in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia.
Around 2005, techno became too much for him and he took up an interest in melodic house music.
Nowdays, his focus is mainly on progressive house but in his sets he tends to blend a variety of styles together. Depending on the mood, his mixes can lead from pumping "full on" progressive through tech-tribal all the way to slow, deep and dark vibes. The one thing that is always present is "melody". This is what ultimately gives a driving energy to his sets.
Since July 2009, he hosts his own monthly radio show called "Let's talk Progressive" on Insomniafm alongside his good friend Synthax from Hungary. The show's aim is to present upcoming DJ's/producers from the region and promote local talent to the world! scheduled every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at 22:00 GMT+2.
