A week ago, Deadmau5 stepped up at Movement festival in Detroit to deliver a two-hour set as his techno alias, Testpilot.
Unfortunately, the highly-anticipated performance didn’t quite go as planned. Heavy rain delayed start time by an hour, and when Deadmau5 was finally able to get up on stage he was plagued by severe technical difficulties.
Punters were definitely disappointed — as was Deadmau5, who promised to re-record the set later in the week on his BBC1 Radio 1 Residency. He followed through, and the full set is now online.
The two-hour set is crammed full of choice cuts from Maceo Plex, Stefano Noferini, Lane 8 and Raxon, as well as some as-yet-unreleased Testpilot material — wrap your ears around the full mix below.
