Carl Cox and Martin Garrix’s documentary “What We Started” is available to watch

Carl Cox’s and Martin Garrix’s much-hyped documentary ‘What We Started’ has officially released in theaters, on iTunes and On Demand today.

The film had its red carpet premiere last night at The Regal South Beach during the height of Miami Music Week. The film’s stars Martin Garrix, Carl Cox and Tiësto were in attendance and also participated in a Q&A directly after the film.

EDM fans have been waiting for the release of What We Started’ since the official trailer dropped in February.

Featuring an impressive cast of electronic dance music superstars, What We Started’ explores the past, present and future of electronic dance music. The film also features David Guetta, Afrojack, Paul Oakenfold, Seth Troxler, Moby, Erick Morillo and other artists. Also featured in the film is Russell Faibisch, the co-founder of Ultra Music Festival, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this weekend and begins today.

Both artists will also attend on Tomorrowland this year along with Alan Fitzpatrick, Aly & Fila,  Mind Against, and Paul van Dyk to the list of names set for this year’s festivals, held in the fittingly named city of Boom, Belgium.

The film’s makers recently shared a never-before-seen clip (below), which focuses on the impact ‘Animals’ had on Garrix’s early career.
