Beatport top 10 most popular tracks of 2017

If you thought 2017 would the year of anything other than Camelphat and Elderbrook, you’d be wrong.

The UK producers and their collaboration ‘Cola’ have dominated basically every end of year dance list and have even picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. They’ve now been named the most popular act of the year on online dance hub Beatport, with ‘Cola’ also nabbing the top spot for most popular track.

Camelphat’s ‘Hangin Out With Charlie’ came in at #2 of the most popular tracks, with Alex Kenji’s ‘My Babe’ (Me & My Toothbrush Remix) rounding out the top three.

Veteran players Dennis Cruz and Green Velvet come in at #2 and #3 in the artist rankings respectively, while the rest of the top ten sees familiar names like Patrice Baumel, Detlef and Riva Starr.
