WHY 1ST OF MAY IN ROMANIA?
1st of May is well known on the Romanian music scene as an occasion for music lovers to take advantage of the bank holidays and run at the Black Sea Coast, in Mamaia resort, for almost a week of 24/7 raving. During the past years, more and more tourists felt the taste of Romania so as we see it, "once you come and have a taste, you always return, and you do it with friends". From 30th of April till late 4th of May, music lovers jump from one club to the other, from one festival to the other and look forward for the daytime beach parties that start as soon as first sparkle of sun appears. 1st of May Celebrations, in Romania, are, for at least a decade, a chance for ravers to literally destroy their dancing shoes during real marathons of partying. Whether it's techno, house, progressive or minimal, every party gathers hundreds of music lovers from the
entire country and, lately, even the entire continent.
We shall proceed in giving you this year, again, a reason to dance madly in two tents assembled on one of Mamaia Nord's best beaches, right on the Black Sea Coast. It's up to you when the special guests we invited will stop playing, cause this is our MISSION: to make you dance!

WHAT IS THE MISSION?
Romania's first and finest electronic music events organizer, awarded locally (and not only) every year of its past 10 of activity as best promoter, is celebrating this year a decade of bringing together the best DJs and bands from across the globe, the latest technology stage shows and the largest audiences. The Mission is known for its events that are always held in unconventional locations, from beaches till concert halls or warehouses, very well chosen depending on artists and the musical area they are covering, the system & technology requirements and the estimated public, which is today, at every The Mission a number in between 5,000 and 50,000.

The Mission always brings to its public the best international artists, whether they are DJs and producers or bands and live acts. PLEASE NOTE:
- The access of people under 18 is strictly forbidden!
- All the tickets, bought in advance or at the door, the VIP or the normal ones, guarantee you the entrance in the tent and full access to both stages;
- We kindly ask you to have with you a valid identity card / passport in order for us to identify you in case we need to when you enter the venue;
- We accept press accreditation requests from 12th till 26th of April, no request sent before or after the mentioned dates won't be accepted;
- No press accreditation is qualified as long as you don't receive a confirmation email followed by instructions from an official member of The Mission;
- The guest list for special guests, press, photographers and winners of various competitions will be on a computerized system that won't accept you as being eligible as long as you don't have a valid identity card or passport with you to prove your identity;
- The Mission doesn't take responsibility for names that don't appear on the guest list and they were told they won a ticket by a third party or are written down on the list by a third party.
- During the night the bars will run by token system, so make sure you spot the nearest token selling point before going to the bar to buy your drink;
- To avoid cues, make sure you attend the event as early as possible, doors will open at 10pm;
