Biography
Depthide (Maciej Franciszek Labuda) was born in 1991. He comes from a small Polish village - Kolonia in Pomerania. Artist was interested in music a long time. At the beginning he often listened to mixes of his favourite DJs, on the local radio station. A bit later, undertook the attempt, of creating own mixes. With time he purchased his first DJ equipment. He has often played in small Internet radios, ran their own radio shows, to which invited many talented artists from around the world. At that time he played mainly tech house, progressive house and minimal music.
He began making music in 2008. The first effect of his works saw the daylight at the beginning of 2010, this EP was called "Diversity" - mixture deep and funk with progressive additive. Two weeks later appeared in another release - "Lost in a Daydream," which was the original version of the track and four remixes. At end of this year, on the Polish label Passion Fruit was released the next Depthide’s EP "Sunken Memories," which has received much positive feedback from listeners, and artists from around the world.
First EP in 2011, "Sailing On The Desert", was released on French label Atlant Digital and received support among others from John Digweed and Sander Kleinenberg.
Depthide primarily creates and mixes house music, in his works, we can hear the freshness, harmony and a full range of emotions, accompanying a man every day. Maciej considers that it is not good to be confined to only one genre of music. Creating concentrating mainly on what we intend to convey to your listeners.
