Praise to the underground craftsmen who capture, sculpt and mount the sounds, noises & delicate atmosphere into blissful creation of music... They are the real artists. Hats off to them.
I only arrange their creation into a continuous journey. I do so under the name of Elemental Drift.
Attracted to the world of electronic music since his young age, Elemental Drift was gradually drawn to the realm of House Music, more particularly to the Progressive House sub-genre and from there he was profoundly marked by such artists like Trafik, Atmos, Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshie Tomiie, Sasha, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Trentemoller, Quivver, Paul Okenfold, Pole Folder, Charlie May, Soul Mekanik, and so many more as well as all the releases on the mythic Global Underground series...
It is thus without surprise that Elemental Drift hammers sets which comes only from the underground world inducing the listener into a deep, thoughtful, emotional progressive journey. These journeys are sometimes dark, sometimes brighter, at other times melancholic layered with subliminal intricate melodies and soundscapes crafted by the underground artists.
As Eddie Amador rightly said: “Not everyone understands house music. It’s a spiritual thing; a body thing; a soul thing.”
