Biography

Majid Khair recently took spinning from a hobby to a career taking him to some of the best clubs in the region to spin everything from dub, trance, electro house to deep progressive tech house, which became his preferred style.

Inspired by some of the “Superstar DJs” of house music such as Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Loco Dice, Magda, Nick warren, Wally Lopez, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Eric Prydz, Max Cooper and many more, MK’s passion for electronic music grew as the dance scene exploded in the Middle East and Egypt a few years back. Eventually, MK was one of the first DJs spinning distinctive underground electronic music around popular dance clubs in Dubai and Sharm El Sheikh. MK is currently known for his distinctive style in selecting and mixing Electro, Tech, Progressive and Deep House tunes.

Majid Khair believes that the passion for music combined with good attitude and the ability to understand and respond to the crowd is what djing is all about.
