Biography
Marwan was born and raised in Beirut on the 25th of March 1985, he began to develop a special passion for music at an early age. Over the years he got a keen musical background of different sounds. He started using Mixing softwares for beginners and trying to mix all types of music. But still, something was missing; theory and inspiration. Trance was his inspiration, with the sounds of Armin Van Buuren. He started to mix trance tunes, but still what he was doing felt unprofessional.
Seeking a Dj school back in Beirut, Per-urt which is becoming a recognizable label around the world, he attended courses on the art of mixing. Inspiration and theory were combined to create his own taste of music and playing them for the public.
House was his final destination, from progressive to tech-house to Deep house. His work attracted a lot people in Beirut which gave him the chance to play at private parties and a couple of clubs. Playing digital is his passion, although some people disagreed, he got his got his 1st world Dj controller from Allen and Heath after trying different kinds of controllers. Now he seeks international appearances.
Launching his first show on Insomniafm radio, JUNCTIONS, he hopes that listeners around the world will appreciate his unique style of music, scheduled every 2nd Saturday of the month at 17:00 CET
